About Saturday Artday
Our Mission
Saturday Artday strives to provide affordable, creative and individualized lessons in the fine art techniques of drawing and painting to kids and teens in St. Lucie County, FL. We provide all materials and are located inside St. Lucie Cultural Alliance’s studios, a non-profit art filled space, perfectly suited for young artists to become inspired by art.
Our Programs
We offer small group classes and 1:1 private lessons for kids and teens. Students in all group classes are taught art vocabulary and sketching techniques for the first 10 minutes of each class. Students will work independently on all artworks with guidance from their instructor.
Our Instructor
Meet Maricel Ruiz, MFA.
She is currently the Art teacher at Tradition Preparatory High-school in Port St. Lucie, FL. She is highly dedicated and motivated in developing each student's unique style and helping them achieve their artistic goals.
